Beckmann & Jorgensen Lanka (Pvt) Ltd are the Member of Beckmann & Jorgensen International of Belgium, hereinafter referred to as our principals. They are an independent organization providing inspection services and control of commodities to the international trade and government agencies. Our principals started their activities in 1895 with the inspection for weight and quality of grains, oil seeds and produce and have over the years expanded their inspection activities to cover the entire spectrum of commodities international traded. We are now represented in more than 70 countries extending from Europe, Russia North and South Americas, Africa, Middle East to the Far East.

Our principals have hitherto been operating in Sri Lanka through Neptune Inspection (Pvt) Ltd who have now merged with the leading Sri Lankan inspection company Trade Solutions Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, under the new title Beckmann & Jorgensen Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Pooling of the resources of the said inspection companies which comprise expertise experience professionalism backed by acceptance in the trade, give us added strength to handle any complex situation in response to clients requirements.

The company is managed by pioneers in the inspection trade in Sri Lanka and are assisted by a skilled supporting staff of inspectors who are professionals in their respective fields.

They have added advantage of our central location in Colombo close to Banks, Sri Lanka Customs, The Colombo Port and Trade Chambers. In order to cater to demanding customer needs, we have developed our own state-of-the-art laboratory in central Colombo, where we now carry out nearly the entire range of tests and analysis on agricultural products.

The development of our own laboratory staffed by qualified chemists will further cut down our turn around time in issuing inspection certificates thereby meeting the increasing demands of our customers. This laboratory is being progressively developed to cover other areas of testing such as pesticide, heavy metals and microbiological while at the same time preparing for its accreditation, in the near future.
