Laboratory services

Our laboratory staffed by qualified and experienced analysts provides in-house analytical requirements as well as the testing needs of clients and is capable of performing chemical, physical and microbiological analysis. The laboratory was conferred accreditation status by the Sri Lanka Accreditation Board (SLAB) as conforming to the Sri Lanka Standard ISO 17025 – General Requirements for The Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories. Thus Trade Solutions Laboratory becomes one of the two accredited laboratories in the country, attached to an inspection company. The laboratory is being further developed to cater to other areas of testing such has pesticides, fertilizer etc.

The TSL laboratory is capable of analysing and testing of all agricultural products such as tea, spices condiments grains, pulses etc. Laboratory analysis covers:

• Microbiological analysis
• Analysis of pesticide residues
• Tea, Agricultural oil seeds, coconut oil, palm oil etc.
• Essential oils
• Potable water, well water, swimming pool water
• Effluents and trade waste
